This course offers a comprehensive study of the Stonewall structure, covering its strategic ideas from the perspective of both sides.
Across six lessons, IM Daniel Rivera and GM Andrés Rodríguez analyse different methods to handle and face this structure. White's plans involving Bf4 and Ba3 are studied, alongside systems without kingside fianchetto.
The programme also delves into the different move orders to reach the Stonewall, comparing starts with 1…d5 and 1…f5. Finally, model games with the black bishop developed on e7 and d6 are presented, explaining the strategic differences between both setups.
An ideal choice to understand Stonewall plans, manoeuvres and typical structures without relying solely on memorising lines.
