How do I get into the course after buying it?
Access is immediate. As soon as the payment clears, the course shows up under “My courses” and you can watch it on any device.
Can I download the material?
PDF notes and PGN games download without limits. Videos are watched inside the platform, to protect the author's work.
Do courses expire?
No. Buying a course gives you lifetime access, including any updates published later on.
What's the difference between buying a course and the membership?
Buying a course gives you that course forever. The membership opens the whole catalogue for as long as it's active, new courses included.
How do I book a private online chess lesson?
From Online lessons: you choose the coach, the language, the length and a time from the ones that coach has free, and the booking is confirmed as soon as the payment clears. The lesson is held over video call.
Are live courses in person or over video call?
There are all three kinds: in person, over video call and hybrid. Each course states its format, the venue if it has one, the dates, the time and how many places are left.
Do I need the membership to book a lesson or a live course?
No. The membership covers the recorded courses in the catalogue. Private lessons and live courses are paid for separately, whether you have a membership or not.
Do I need to install anything to view the PGN games?
No. Games play move by move on a board inside the platform. You can also download them to open in another program.
What currency do I pay in?
Prices are shown in your country's currency when it's available. When it isn't, we charge in US dollars.
Do the courses come with a certificate?
Once you complete every lesson, we issue a downloadable certificate of completion.
