The Jobava System: ideas for Black
Stage 1 brings together six courses by Grandmaster Andrés Rodríguez, designed to help you better understand key areas of chess and apply new ideas in your own games.
Throughout this collection you will learn to enrich your opening repertoire, recognize combinations and tactical resources, interpret different pawn structures, and make better decisions when trading pieces. You will also study concrete setups to face the Ruy López and Italian Game with 1.d3 and develop a dynamic Black repertoire against the Jobava System.
Each course combines clear explanations, strategic concepts, and practical examples, with the goal of not just adding new variations, but truly understanding the ideas hidden behind each position.
