FMAndrés Eloy Pérez Candelas

My name is Andres, I have been a chess coach since 2017. Currently, I am also a teacher in the chess program of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, a coach at the Villa Martelli Chess Club, and I privately train players of various ages and levels.

I started in the world of the 64 squares at age 10 with good national results. But it wasn't until I was 16 that I achieved my first major performance, finishing as runner-up in the Pan American School Chess Championship in 2011. In 2019, I managed to surpass 2300 FIDE ELO points and earned my FM title. I have been working as a coach for over 9 years, guiding everyone from those taking their first steps to titled players.

The only requirement is a willingness to learn and work on improving your chess. There are no magic recipes for success, but there is well-directed work to achieve it.
