El Gambito de Dama es una de las aperturas más importantes y enriquecedoras de la historia del ajedrez. En este curso vas a recorrer sus principales estructuras, ideas estratégicas y planes, buscando comprender no solo qué jugar, sino también por qué. A lo largo de seis encuentros, los GM Andrés Rodríguez y Alejandro Hoffman abordan el Gambito de Dama desde diferentes perspectivas: el desafío central que plantea el peón de c4, las estructuras de la Eslava y Semieslava, la preparación práctica del repertorio, el Gambito de Dama Aceptado, las grandes partidas clásicas del Gambito de Dama Rehusado y uno de sus planes estratégicos más emblemáticos: la Variante del Cambio con el ataque de las minorías. El curso combina conceptos estratégicos, repertorio, toma de decisiones y análisis de partidas modelo, con el objetivo de que el alumno pueda reconocer las estructuras típicas y desenvolverse con mayor seguridad tanto con blancas como frente a los distintos esquemas defensivos. Está especialmente pensado para jugadores de nivel intermedio y avanzado que quieran profundizar su comprensión del juego de peón dama y construir una base sólida para aplicar estas ideas en sus propias partidas.

Grandmaster Andrés Rodríguez Vila is the best Uruguayan player of all time. Alongside his playing career, he specializes in chess teaching and improvement across all levels, placing special emphasis on working with young talents and high performance. His educational activities take place mainly in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and Mexico, but he has also given lectures and courses in countries as diverse as Chile, Colombia and Spain.
