Grandmaster Andrés Rodríguez Vila is the best Uruguayan player of all time. Alongside his playing career, he specializes in chess teaching and improvement across all levels, placing special emphasis on working with young talents and high performance. His educational activities take place mainly in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and Mexico, but he has also given lectures and courses in countries as diverse as Chile, Colombia and Spain.
