The course covers resources such as the …b5 defense, the …c5 counterattack, the Closed Catalan, the …Bb4+ check, and the solid triangle structure. The goal is not just to memorize variations, but to learn how to read pawn structures, spot characteristic plans, and make better decisions during the game.
Grandmaster Andrés Rodríguez Vila is the best Uruguayan player of all time. Alongside his playing career, he specializes in chess teaching and improvement across all levels, placing special emphasis on working with young talents and high performance. His educational activities take place mainly in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and Mexico, but he has also given lectures and courses in countries as diverse as Chile, Colombia and Spain.
