Exchange sacrifices, part 2
Sacrificing material is one of the most powerful and exciting tools in chess, but applying it correctly demands much more than intuition. In this course you will learn to evaluate when a material investment is truly justified and what type of compensation to aim for.
Over the course of six lessons, Grandmasters Andrés Rodríguez and Diego Flores break down pawn sacrifices, piece sacrifices, and exchange sacrifices. Through carefully selected positions and games, you will study the strategic and tactical factors that allow you to turn a material deficit into the initiative, a direct attack, piece activity, or lasting positional advantages.
The course follows a thematic progression designed to help you understand different types of sacrifices, spot their characteristic triggers, and make decisions with greater confidence in complex situations.
