Nimzo-Indian Defense: Surprise lines
This course offers a deep and practical journey through the Nimzo-Indian Defence, one of the most prestigious, solid and strategically rich responses against 1.d4.
Over six stages, Grandmasters Andrés Rodríguez and Diego Flores analyze different systems to understand their structures, typical plans and tactical resources. The program begins with the Classical variation via 4.e3 and continues with the Capablanca variation based on 4.Qd2.
It also covers the modern 4.Bd2 line, along with less common alternatives that can be used as surprise weapons. The goal is for students not just to memorize moves, but to understand the ideas that allow them to handle white's different setups with confidence.
